Hiring a professional photographer to photograph your precious little one can be a daunting task. There are tons of photographers to choose from, but not all of them specialize in newborns or have the training, equipment and props to provide you with memories that you’ll cherish forever. You have a limited window of time to capture your newborn, so I encourage you to do your research! Most newborn sessions take place in the first 2 weeks of life, but I’ll do them up to 4 weeks old. After this time, newborns stay awake for longer periods of time and it becomes harder to get those cute sleepy newborn poses.

My full newborn sessions usually last between 2 and 4 hours long. I bring my studio to you: lighting, props, beautiful assortment of wraps, faux furs, headbands and cute little outfits. I love color and creating setups that coordinate well with each other. I have clients fill out a questionnaire and work with them on style and color choices for their newborn session. My hope is that clients will walk away with beautiful printed art of their newborn baby. This time goes by so quickly, but these portraits will help you remember all their cute little details.
